No. Original equipment manufacturers may not insist on the use of their branded transceivers as a condition of warranty. This would be considered a tie-in arrangement and violates both EU- and US law (EU: TFEU Article 101f., US: Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and Sherman Antitrust Act)
No. Our transceivers are manufactured to the same standards as the OEM’s branded transceivers. Our strict adherence to MSA standards ensures, that they will not negatively affect the host systems’ performance.
All Speeddy transceivers purchased directly from us or from an authorized reseller are fully covered by a lifetime warranty.
Our optical solutions have the same technical specifications and performance characteristics as OEM transceivers, but at a much lower cost. We can often provide bespoke or legacy solutions that OEMs cannot offer (anymore).
In most cases we can provide you with transceivers for less common brands, and if we don’t already have a specific compatibility, we are able to code for that particular OEM if supplied with a sample transceiver. Please use the ‘Request brand compatibility’ field in the product description to let us know which hardware (brand and model) the transceivers will be used in.
As with many other product groups, you are paying premium prices only for the OEM’s name to be printed on the label. In many cases our optics may be produced in the same factory as the major brands and are only distinguished by the name on the label, which we won’t make you pay for. By cutting out all the middlemen and sales channels and by dealing in large volumes, we are able to offer some of the most competitive prices on the market.
Most common transceivers are ready to ship from stock. Higher-value, channel specific and other non-standard optics have a short lead time, which you will be informed about before placing your order. Please contact us directly to inquire about the le ad times to your location.
Delivery costs are determined by shipping address, order volume, parcel size and chosen delivery options. For orders with a value above EUR 100 and standard shipping, we offer free delivery inside the EU/EEA.
If your parcel is delivered with visible damages on the packaging, please make sure to take photos and/or videos on site and send them to us. We will contact the freight carriers directly to resolve any arising issue. Once we have established that the damages have been caused during transport, your account manager will guide you through the return procedure and will follow up with exchanging or refunding your order in the shortest delays.
All orders for delivery in member states of the European Union will be shipped out of our technology and logistics centre in the Netherlands and will be VAT exempt if a valid EU VAT Identification Number is provided during order placement. For shipments inside the Netherlands we are obliged to charge 21% VAT in accordance with EU and Dutch legislation.
Orders delivered to non-EU countries might be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package arrives in the destination country. All related payments shall be at your charge. Since we have no control over these, please contact your local customs office for further information.

You can raise a return request within 30 days of order’s delivery date. Once your return gets approved, your account manager will provide you with an RMA form and detailed instructions on how to return the items accordingly.
If the return is due to an error by Speeddy (incorrect, incomplete or defective item), we will cover all shipping and custom duties, both on import and export. Shipments returned to our warehouse without prior authorisation or otherwise ineligible for returns will be rejected and shipped back to you at your charge.
No. We will repair and ship your products that meet our warranty requirements for free.
